Absolutely love Dr Gjoni. He delivered all 5 of my children before he moved his practice. I miss him dearly, he had been my doctor since I was 14 in upstate New York.
Well my experience was awful!! I went down for a doctors appointment and realized I was in labor! My blood pressure was all out of wack. When it came time I got an epidural and they kept rolling me from side to side and it screwed up my epidural. Needless to say the epidural did not work at all, was a waste of my time! Had my beautiful baby girl that morning, god discharged 2-3 days later. Made it home to find out not all my placenta had gotten cleaned out. It started discharging from my body and I had to call back down to get told that I needed to hurry back down there and get antibiotics ran through me! Got to come back home that evening. Keep in mind that placenta piece was left in me for about 4-5 days before my body discharged it!! I had to go back down the following day and have a DNC done. Finally got cleaned out and fixed up and well now I can get pregnant going on 7 years. So no it wasn't a pleasant experience and may have ruined me of ever having any more children!!
Gjoni pulled a curtain to seperate my wife & I, then (what we thought was going to be a dilation check) led to stripping membranes, while he physically pushed the baby down the pelvis. No respect, being we specifically told him we did not want this to happen & he agreed not too & did it anyway. Gjoni has zero respect for women & their thoughts. Plz go elsewhere & save an emotional loss as we experienced. He was so rude & yelled at the nurses in front of us (they were not in the wrong)
He delivered my twins, I loved him he really does care. He wants you to do everything he says and take your medicines that he gives to benefit u and baby if u don't he can tell and will get on to you. He treated my babies like his own.
We lost Poole tuesday & decided to visit with Gjoni on Friday (telling him what we wanted & did not want) Gjoni complied & said, "I will treat you as good as my daughter" On Monday he separated my partner & I, I thought he was doing a dilation check. He was physically inducing me (after being asked not too) He stripped my membranes, pushed my baby so hard getting him down my pelvis duuring the stripping. I was so soar & bled all day. I went into labor that night (separate hospital) my baby was slightly premature. I heard he did a c-section on a baby the week before, that was life flights due to its lungs not being developed (too early) I advise anyone pregnant to run elsewhere. I would rather deliver in the car if I had no time to get elsewhere.
