A nice clean basic room. It's all I really need when traveling. The room had been remodeled not too long ago. It is not a luxury hotel but it's also not charging luxury hotel prices. The price was perfect for the room. The bath towels could stand to be a little bigger. They worked but were barely large enough to wrap around my wet hair. The hair dryer wasn't mounted back in the room after the remodel but they had one at the desk. There was coffee in the morning which is a plus. The one drawback was the trucks parked at the truck stop next door were running all night since it was cold. The wind was blowing the exhaust to the hotel at least part of the time when I arrived. It seemed to shift after a while. I did use ear plugs to soften the sound of the trucks.
The man running the motel was very nice. The room was quite modern looking with the wood simulated floors. I did however have to fix the sink drain which was stuck on closed. The toilet was loose and rocked around when you sat on it. I couldn't find the "sleep" option on the TV remote control, which I find quite necessary these days.
Clean room. Good price. Easy to get there. No breakfast. Refrigerator seal didn't work and it leaked on the floor. Air conditioning worked great. It did keep things cold. We just slept there and then when went on our merry way.
A no frills place to sleep. No toiletries so bring your own shampoo. Towels were clean but hard and thin. Bed was ok. Easy access off the road. All in all, not a bad place for the price. I'd stay there again for an overnight, but if you're planning a long stay, I'd suggest someplace else.
Rooms were decent, friendly staff. NO BREAKFAST not even a banana, they have the room for it but I guess they are trying to save money. Go across to the acorn hotel they have an excellent breakfast.
Otherwise it was a nice place to sleep.
